Lay x Reader... Christmas Craze

“Jagiya, I’ve returned from Christmas shopping!”  Lay unknowingly shouted into the empty apartment you two shared. He slid into your room in his socks and looked around in shock before realizing that the apartment was really empty. He ran his hand through his hair and sighed out. “I guess I could prepare something for her then…”

He nodded in response to himself and brought his bags out into the kitchen and set them down. He slid off his comfy, silky jacket, and rolled up his sleeves and began making your favorite dish.

You dashed around the store picking up everything in site that had to do with couples. You could not stop. You already had two cell phone charms, a t shirt, three bracelets, and a necklace. A nice woman approached you in the store and questioned, “Do you need help finding something miss?” You slowly turned around in frenzy, and almost raged at her if you didn’t get it through your head that she was just trying to help you out. You laughed sweetly the best you could and shook your head no.

“Although, I think I’m ready to be checked out.” You added. She smiled sweetly in response and led you to where she would check your items out and let you return home where a surprise awaited you…

As Lay finished up the meal, he washed his hands and began taking out your gifts. He placed the huge teddy bear on the couch and set the bouquet he got you in the teddy bear’s fluffy paws. The bear took up half of the couch, and was quite tall, and almost towered Lay. He sifted through the other bags and respectively placed the others ones next to each other on the wooden table in front of the couch.

He looked around after he finished and smiled proudly at the cute set up he had done.
“Jagiya will like this.” Lay said to no one as he heard someone special stick the key in the lock before jiggling the door knob a few times. The door flung open and the small girl was revealed.

“Geez!” You breathed out. “We really need to get that fixed!” The door knob was jammed, and it was almost impossible to open. You looked up, to find a pair of golden caramel eyes already awaiting yours. You stood frozen for a second before taking the bags and hiding them behind your back. “P-pretend you didn’t see that! You didn’t see a thing!” You narrowed your eyes at him as he nodded and stepped aside.

You drew a sharp intake of breath and saw the giant teddy bear lying on the couch. You dropped your bags in shock and ran over to it, letting out a squeal of joy as you jumped beside it on the couch. You took the bouquet in your arms and smelled it. “Wow!” You let your eyes gaze over it before setting it down and grabbing the bags on the table. You tore them open in joy and you were stunned to find a rather small box, not small enough to be a ring, but it definitely wasn’t big enough to hold a necklace. You opened it, and to your surprise, a bracelet lay before you, glimmering in your favorite color with a hint of silver and a tinge of gold. “Oppa… This is so beautiful!” Your eyes brimmed with tears as you slid it on cautiously. “I love it!” He chuckled and walked over to you, placing his hands on your shoulders.

“You don’t love it more than me though!  …Right?” You laughed at your adoring boyfriend’s question. You brought him down in a kiss and sighed out.

“Of course not! I don’t think there is anything I love more than you Oppa.” You pointed over to your gifts and told him that if he got them he could open them. Lay rushed over to the gifts, and cautiously opened them, amazed to see all the couple things you found.

“Wow! Jagiya, where did you find all this? You must of gone crazy looking for this!” You laughed nervously as he put the cell phone charms on, and he slid one of the three bracelets on. He approached you again and sat next to you.

“I love you,  _____-ah.”

You snuggled into him and closed your eyes. “I love you too, Oppa.”
