Sungmin x Reader... Never

SMACK! “Owwwwww…” You slowly opened your eyes expecting the blinding sun to pierce your _(e/c)_ orbs. Instead, you saw a black figure, shielding your eyes from the harsh rays. A hand was outstretched to you, and absent mindedly, you took it into your soft small hands, and you were hoisted up by the kind stranger.  You dusted yourself off and finally got a good look at the man who you guessed ran into you in the first place.

His brown eyes bore into yours, as he gave off a bright, cheerful smile. He bowed deeply and smiled again. “Hi. I’m Sungmin. I’m sorry for running into you earlier, just be careful the next time. I won’t go so easy on you.” He extended his hand to yours to shake it. ‘Sungmin? Where have I heard that?’ You shook it off, you were sure it didn’t matter now. You gladly took his petite hand, and introduced yourself.

“Hi. I’m ______, nice to meet you Sungmin… Uh… Oppa?” He looked at you shocked, and you immediately regret what you said. His cheeks tinged a bright red and he looked away.  You opened your mouth to apologize, but he quickly spoke over you.

“Yes. Oppa. I know, I don’t look it, but I’m pretty sure I’m older than you. How old are you anyways _____-ah?” You were shocked that he already knew your response, and you felt kind of bad. ‘Did this happen too often?’  You watched him as he tried to hide his sad expression.  You began to walk side by side, and he looked up at you with a confused face. ‘What did I do?’ You pondered.

“Are you going to tell me how old you are?” He chuckled awkwardly and you felt silly all of the sudden for getting lost in his cute actions. You panicked and stuttered out words in a rush and your face was a bright pink.

“A-ah, I’m so sorry! I’m _(age)_!” He laughed at your panic and grabbed your hand. You blushed furiously as he pulled you along the cool streets of Seoul. He made sharp turns, almost throwing you off balance, as you two ran hand in hand heading off in an unknown destination. You both began to get more comfortable around each other, and began to laugh when you aimlessly ran.

It felt so natural for you to be with him, it gave off the feeling you’ve known him forever, and it’s making you feel like it’s almost… Love at first sight. Sure, you didn’t believe in such a thing, but getting so absorbed in how he acts, and blushing at everything he says, you kind of had to. But where have you seen him before?

Sungmin suddenly stopping brought you out of your thoughts quickly, as the both of you halted in front of the SM building with a skid. You fixed your tousled hair, and looked up. This building was huge, and you finally realized what was going on.

The Lee Sungmin. Standing right in front of you, rushing you through the streets of Seoul… And the whole time… He was holding your hand. Your ultimate bias! How could you be so blind to not have noticed n the first place. He turned to you while your mind was processing everything, and your heart racing. He flashed his signature smile, and guided you through the doors. You moved robotically, still not believing what is happening.

By the time you snapped back into reality, you were  walking down the long halls to possibly his dorm. Your heart threatened to jump out of your chest, as he slipped into his pocket to grab the room key. He grabbed the door handle and looked at you. “Are you okay? Are you sure you want to do this? I know the guys aren’t home, but I just want to make sure. You look a little pale.”
And that was all it took to send you into a spell of dizziness. The hall were turning, and wiggling as you almost tipped over. Did you say something to him when you were out of it? He couldn’t be taking advantage of you… He’s too sweet! He poked at your arm. “Hello? Earth to _____!” Your eyes darted quickly back to his.

“W-what?” He grabbed both your hands, as you felt your knees give way. You plummeted to the floor, and he quickly kneeled down beside you. He shook you and called out your name. But you couldn’t hear over the sound of your heart raging in your chest.

You tried to focus on his eyes, but you were lost in thoughts. Everything was still spinning. ‘No, no, no, no! That’s not what he was asking you! Focus!’  You got the strength back to stand, and you gripped his hand to reassure that you were not going down again like that. He looked at you with a worried expression. One of his hands untangled it from yours and placed itself on your shoulder.

“Hey, I just wanted to make sure you didn’t need to be home at a certain time. Are you sure you are okay with going inside?” Your mind just took a giant stop. Wait. That’s all he was going to ask about? You thought he was asking about… Never mind! You were just glad that was all. You nodded, because you were pretty sure that if you were to say anything, it would come out as a small squeak.

You were looked over once more by Sungmin, and he led you inside slowly. He sat you down after closing the door, helping you take off your shoes. “K-Komawo… O-o-o-oppa.” He simply smiled and brought you to the couch, where you continued to stare off into space. This was all too much for you to process right now. First, you met Lee Sungmin. Second, you held his hand. Third, now you were sitting here, in his dorm, with him. Right there. Just an inch away.

After a few minutes of silence passed, he stood and started heading for the kitchen. “Would you like some tea?” He began to run the kettle under the sink, then continued to place it on the stove. You only nodded and looked away, completely embarrassed.

He sighed and returned to his place next to you on the couch. Sungmin looked back over at you with his chocolate orbs. They seemed to give off a sad feeling this time. You knitted your eyebrows in worry, and placed your hands on his thigh. “______-ah… Is there something I did wrong? You aren’t acting the same from when I met you… I know haven’t known you for a long time, but I have a strange feeling that I’ve known you forever…” You looked at him with tears pricking your eyes. ‘Oh.. He feels the same?’

He placed his hand onto yours, making you jump a little, but resisting the urge to pull back completely. He noticed your small jump, and gripped your hand tighter. “_______... Please don’t leave me… I’ve always been shot down by other girls, because they only see me as a friend. Please… I… I love you. I know… I’ve only known you for a short time,” He paused as tears started to drip onto his hand, slowly rolling down onto yours. “But I meant it when I said I love you.” The tears began to spill out of your eyes too.

The tea pot began to scream as he looked up at you, waiting for your reaction too. “Sungmin… I-I love you too…” He looked shocked, but only for a moment, as he smashed his lips onto yours. You shaped your lips onto his, making a perfect fit. Like, you were made to be together… He only broke the kiss to pour tea and quickly come back, setting the tea on the table quickly, putting his eager lips back on yours, and making your heart soar again.

You smiled in to the kiss as you thought, ‘Oppa, I would never leave you. Ever.’
